BPM Festival is expanding.
Recent events have been extremely sad around the BPM Festival, where a shooting took place at the final night in the Blue Parrot nightclub. After releasing a statement, five people were thought to be confirmed dead, while a number of others were injured. However before this happened, the BPM Festival had revealed some news, that it was expanding.
Ten years in Mexico, the festival was doing extremely well with how it brought the biggest and best underground DJs to the market. Now the BPM Festival is expanding and it is set to tap into a number of markets which are not yet established. Brasil and Portugal are the markets, with Brasil the go-to place for expansions, and Portugal are market where no real major dance music festivals take place.
BPM’s organic growth over the last 10 years speaks to the integrity of the artists and the music that we present. We’re proud to have launched a dozen DJ careers and be a stand out platform for quality underground music, and we are looking forward to expanding our vision and festival family aesthetic to Brazil and Portugal. – Co-Founder & Director Craig Pettigrew
