Showtek & Major Lazer – Believer

Major Lazer and Showtek have come together to go all out chaos with this new single 'Believer' and this is a big one.

Major Lazer and Showtek have come together for a brand new track and this is what you need if you want to spice up your set, light up the crowd or just bring the energy and madness to the event. ‘Believer‘ is the product of the collaboration and this is the type of track that I am currently digging at the moment.

Showtek have been churning out the tunes as of late, with the likes of ‘Mellow’ and ‘Swipe’. Now they follow up with a new single alongside Major Lazer, who have been smashing it with the likes of ‘Cold Water’ amongst other singles. Pairing the two of these off, both Showtek and Major Lazer, was likely to create something big. And it did. The product was ‘Believer’ and it’s set to light up the dance floors, festivals, clubs and a far with the Bass and Trap beats.

With an intro that really sets the tone for something big, a high tempo kicks in directly after leading to some Jamaican toned vocals. This Reggae vibe continues to run through the track as the synths kick in to bring the melodies, as well as the down tempo back drop, this mixture and contrast fitting so well. When it begins to build to the drop, you can tell this is the Showtek influence vibe, before it drops down. The Trap nature then comes through and what an impact this could very well make. Sketchy electro energy flowing right to the bone, oozing out as the vocals complete the edge of the atmosphere. It’s big, it’s goes in hard, yet it seems to have a softer side to it. What a brilliant sound though to hear both Showtek and Major Lazer come through. ‘Believer’ could be the next big festival track…
