Mr. Kristopher is an artist who should be one everyone’s radar, especially if you like music that touches on a number of different genres. This can be heard throughout the music in which he produces. And he certainly showcases this with the ‘Brooklyn Trilogy: Part Three‘. Four tracks which take you on a wild journey.
We’ve had two parts of the ‘Brooklyn Trilogy’ series already come in from Mr. Kristopher and they were seriously impressive. Each gave a new insight into the artist and you can see how his music is influenced by so many other artists from across a wide music base. With the ‘Brooklyn Trilogy: Part Three’, Mr. Kristopher shows all of these influences and styles through for new tracks. They have a wide ranging sound base, and each will have a different impact.
‘Hope You Know‘ has a real gritty edge to it, something which brings about a real haunting atmosphere. This is brought about through the build ups, but it drops into something real gritty through the bass line and the melodies in the drop. Hard hitting, but something which has a real impact, especially when played out. The vocal adds to all of this. ‘Leaving LA‘ has a similar gritty nature to it, bringing plenty of bass on board when it drops. The builds really take you on a journey as the energy mounts, before dropping once more into serious bass. A classy track.
‘Holographic Feel‘ takes a different approach, with huge builds and an atmosphere like no other. Again, it has a haunting and dark edge surrounding it but this is the sounds which you thrive off. Again, the vocal has a big part to play in this, and the drop leans towards dirty bass. Another solid track from Mr. Kristopher. Rounding off the EP is ‘Before The War‘ and this is just electro madness. The synths rivet through the track alongside some deadly bass lines, building a track like no other. This is a huge vibe, one which you can imagine the crowd going wild too. This EP has some serious weight behind it.
