Carl Cox’s Music Is Revolution Closing Party To Be Streamed

It's a sad time for all but everyone will be able to enjoy Carl Cox's last ever Music Is Revolution Closing Party at Space Ibiza.

| by | News

Carl Cox has probably been the stand out moment for anyone who visited the legendary Space Ibiza. With the nightclub closing it’s doors this year, though being rumoured to reopen again in a few years time at a different location, it will also be the last night of Carl Cox at the club as he shuts down with his Music Is Revolution Closing Party on September 20th.

Having played at the club for the last fifteen years, being the pinnacle of those visiting the island to hear his top class choice of Techno and underground tunes, he is going to be greatly missed. So what better way to celebrate your last time at the the legendary nightclub than to play a mammoth ten hour all night long set for the Music Is Revolution Closing Party. Oh and for those of you who can’t make it, his full set will be streamed live via be-at.tv.

At the start of my residency, of course I only played vinyl but now everything is digital and has been for some years. I wanted to take things back and pay homage to all those years at Space spinning records. I want to show respect to those older tunes, dig out some of my old vinyl and play them alongside new tunes. A lot of the crowd probably won’t have even heard them before, so it’s a way of showing the music is still relevant. I thought it was a fitting way to say goodbye! – Carl Cox

The night will also see the likes of DJ Sneak, Nic Fanciulli, tINI, Julian Jeweil and many more take to Space Ibiza for the Music Is Revolution Closing Party. It will be a celebration like no other, though a sad moment all the same.
