Brett Gould is a producer who continues to build such a solid reputation for himself. The artist has been working alongside some of the most acclaimed labels in the business and he has certainly cemented himself as an artist to watch. Now he lands on Sola Records with the new EP ‘Drum Machine‘, which is certainly going down well.
This is a producer and DJ who has been putting the hard work and determination into his career. With a two year residency at Lightbox, as well as supporting major names such as Eats Everything and Sasha to name but a few, it’s clear to see Brett Gould is grafting. Now he has delivered a new EP in the form of ‘Drum Machine’ on Sola Records. What is also clear to see is that with tracks such as these two, it won’t be long before Brett Gould really makes a name for himself.
‘Drum Machine‘ is the first track to feature on the EP and it really sets the standard for the two track EP. It’s a thumping Tech House banger with a real groovy bass line. This is the kind of track you want to get down too in the gritty underground club. It’s all about the drums which filter in and out of the track, alongside the robotic vocal. It’s a real corker track. ‘The Ride‘ is the second track on the EP and it says exactly what you think. Intricate drum sample rock through the background, before a real atmospheric vocal captures the vibe. As the track progresses and you fall further into the rhythm, you become captured by the energy of the track. It’s solid work from Brett Gould. Expect more from him.
