Hey Mateo! What was the song/artist/moment that made you get in to music?
I was raised in the belief that one of the most important things for humans is how to deal with laziness. With that belief, I explored the most perfect art – music. Music is like a wave – you must start small, otherwise, it knocks you out of your legs.

We know you love production, but was there a moment that you can pinpoint which made you want to make music?
The producer must feel the ground; it allows us to look from a distance at the spells and metaphors of music. It makes me make a decision and I’m where my choices go.

When did you discover your passion for DJing and producing?
There was always music in my house. We listened in the car, and my dad took me to the concerts. Naturally, I became interested in how to create it. The choice fell on electronic dance music.

What was the first release that blew your socks off?
Laurent Garnier – The Man With The Red Face.

Was there a native artist you admired when you were younger?
Well it’s hard to say… But If I had to name one, it would be Hernan Cattaneo.

Has there been a show/track which has changed your life and the course of your musical career?
Well I would name Hernan again. First time I heard his essential mix for BBC Radio One, then I enjoy his performance couple of times, like at Creamfields, he have something in this what he do what I really love about music.

Finally, what do you think makes your work unique?
With music is like a woman, she never gets lost straight away! I invite you to watch my unequal fight with the most wonderful demon – Music!
