Tinlicker – Automatic EP

Tinlicker are back on Zerothree Music with their Progressive House vibes as they drop the two track 'Automatic' EP.

Oh god I love it when I hear some brand new Progressive House anthems. They always seem to hit the spot and hit the spot nicely. Especially when they arrive on the coveted Zerothree Music label. Anyways, Tinlicker are the artists behind the new two track ‘Automatic’ EP which has landed on the label.

This isn’t the first time the duo have landed on the label. Back at the start of the year they produced and released the exquisite ‘Triangle‘ EP and it blew me away. It had quality, it had spice, it had energy and it was just bloody brilliant to be honest. And to hear that they were back for round two, oh I couldn’t get over it. The ‘Automatic’ EP has been revealed with two new tracks and they are just as good as those that featured on the ‘Triangle’ EP, if not better…

The first track on the EP is the title track ‘Automatic‘ and this sets the tone off at a very nice pace, with the tempo set quite high, while the synths bounce off in the backdrop. This is all about the journey and the electronic sounds which Tinlicker have brought forth. It’s the way in which the track builds up, with the synths and the melodies, with that running layer in the background. Energy, enthusiasm, positivity, these are the vibes which ooze out of this track and capture you. You won’t be able to get away from it, especially when it drops into the dirty bass line.

Following on from this was the second track, ‘In All The Fire‘ and again, this is just the type of track which captures you, reels you in and fails to let loose. The deep riveting bass line with the melodies that are slightly higher pitched on top are a perfect combination in the builds. That style though that they have brought through in the melodies, the oddly sounding out of pitch electronic rivet is just superb. It’s odd, catchy and rather infectious. It showcases the quality that Tinlicker can produce in the studio and I will certainly be keeping an eye out for future productions. The ‘Automatic’ EP is one of current favourites out there.
