The Playlist: RavenKis

RavenKis has stepped up to take over The Playlist with a French influence coming through...

| by | Features

French producer RavenKis has been around the scene for a few years now, but as of late, he has started to really show what he is capable of. The talented musician has recently released an almighty beast on Size Records, delivering ‘Stellar‘ to the label. And now he has taken over The Playlist to show some of his all time favourites, his influences and some quality tunes for everyone to enjoy. Keep an eye out for RavenKis in the coming months, he’s going to be a star.

Daft Punk – Digital Love

No need to precise why I love this track, simple and emotional chords with a legendary synth solo, “what else ?”

Stardust – Music Sounds Better With You

Great classic, perfect sampling, one of my favourite track ever.

Modjo – Lady

Once again, a must have in your playlist, particularly when the sunny days approach.

Dirty South ft. Rudy – Let It Go (Axwell Remix)

I still play this banger in most of my sets, the king of house had such a big vibe on this one!!!

Starsailor – Four To The Floor (Thin White Duke Remix)

Also playing it as mashup in most my sets, one of the best mix between alternative pop and electro… Jacque Lu Comte made something great here.

Stephan Bodzin – Singularity

He is my favourite techno artist… he has such an original and personal touch in his tracks… This one is my favourite he made!

Tchami – Adieu

You’ll tell me this list is very French! But Tchami made such a good job with it I couldn’t NOT put it! For some reason this track evoke me Ibiza’s sunset at Cafe Mambo.

Vigel – Children

There has been many remixes and versions of ‘Children’ by Vangelis, this one, the latest one, is my favourite! As a trance lover, and prog lover, I will play this in all my coming sets!

Steve Angello – Isabel

This one is my favourite of Size’s boss discography, great, class and loud. Also the first track I heard from him back in days!

Arno Cost & Arias – Magenta

Goosebumps, every time I listen to it.
