Multitalent DJ and producer LPR has been at the forefront of the Bali club scene since he relocated from his hometown Liverpool. A resident DJ at the world famous Cocoon Beach Club, LPR is the mastermind behind hit records like ‘Watching You’, ‘Never’, ‘In This House’ and ‘You Make Me’, becoming a regular feature on renowned imprints such as Neon Records, EDX’s imprint Sirup Records, Stonebridge’s Stoney Boy Music and Federico Scavo’s Area94. Now it is time for LPR to share with us the records that are currently smashing his in demand DJ sets in The Playlist.

Stack & Piece – Burning Out (Original Mix)
Great track and a lovely vocal over it to boot – I don’t get to play so much of this style of chilled music but it’s always in my collection and this is right up there for me

LPR – In This House (Original Mix)
This record just never fails to deliver, it’s got that driving bassline and a vocal shot which you’re sure you’ve heard before! I feel like a lot of people have slept on this track but that’s ok….until this interview it had remained a bit of a secret weapon for me haha!

Rüfüs – Say a Prayer For Me (MK Remix)
Rufus are just massive in Bali being so close to Aus, and we all know that MK delivers at every turn – this record just goes and goes! Infectious vocal and excellent production all round, complete winner!

Ferreck Dawn & Rene Amesz – Lord (Original Mix)
Such a cool record! I’m a big fan of both of these guys and no wonder once they’ve teamed up they’ve produced a smash hit! Love the vocal!

Tough Love feat. Arlissa – Touch (Extended Mix)
This has it all – crazy bassline, top vocal and a bit of piano action to boot!! I’ve been hammering this record for a while and it’s no surprise that it goes off each and every time! In my top 5 for sure!

Illyus & Barrientos – Strings (CamelPhat Remix)
Finding it really hard to play a set without one of these boys’ tracks in it these days! Hit after hit, they always deliver and their remix of Strings is no different! Really driving track, I can’t get enough of it!

Mark Knight – Voulez-Who? (Original Mix)
Always been a fan of Mark Knight and this track is fantastic – It’s got that Techy rolling bassline with a great looped vocal which was always bound to devastate dance floors! Brand new but takes me back a few years to the sort of ‘French-House’ era in some ways. Big!

Jonas Saalback – Ancient Lake (Sebastien Leger Remix)
One word – Masterpiece!

D. Ramirez – Brutal Power (Barber Remix)
I played the original mix for a few months testing it out for Dean and it was an absolute weapon…..Then he comes to me with the excellent Barber remix and it blew my mind! You can’t fail with this vocal, and the tech fuelled remix is right up my street – Probably my number 1 record right now

Motez feat. Scrufizzer – The Vibe (Original Mix)
One for the Aussies here! Motez delivers again with a top drawer track you just can’t sit still to! Great bassline and a clever vocal makes this a slam dunk track!
