The last few months have been extremely busy for Sub Focus as the artist returns to the scene with new music ahead of the release of his newest album. A number of singles have arrived and each showcase the sound which the renowned artist brings across. The third to arrive is ‘Lingua’ and this again, sets the tone for what lays ahead.

Sub Focus has been around on the scene for a few years now and his music just seems to go down a treat, whether it is his older tracks or his newest singles. ‘Love Divine‘ was the artists second single, following on from his return to the scene with ‘Nobody Knows‘. And this is all to gear up for the release of his next album. The anticipation for this has been growing, with each single release and now his third single from the album has arrived, in the form of ‘Lingua’. Again, this one reinforces why there is such anticipation surrounding the album release.

‘Lingua’ features vocals from Stylo G and the mixture of the background production with these vocals is just a quality mix. The track itself brings across a number of different sounds and genres, dabbling in the Dancehall like vibes with a mixture of the iconic Sub Focus Drum N Bass sound. The vocals have been used in the build up to the drop, where the Dancehall Reggae like vibes are giving off, before dropping down into a Bass led gritty drop. Stylo G’s vocals then take hold of the track as the bass line flows through the track, providing the energy which flows out of the track. This mixture is highly infectious, but the real draw for the track is the break down. Flowing melodies and an airy atmosphere just takes over the track, really dominating and coming through, again mixing with the vocals. This is one which will go down well in the club or at the festival, it just builds the hype for Sub Focus’ album.
