Steve Angello has always been one to create something a little different, to take things in a different direction from the norm. It’s always been the way he has showcased his music and his style, and this has come through with his Size Records label. And he has showcased this once more with the release of part three of his album, ‘Paradiso‘.

Just a few months ago, we were treated to the news that a new album was set to arrive from Steve Angello. It was titled ‘Almost Human‘ and Steve announced that it would arrive in three parts – ‘Genesis‘, ‘Inferno‘ and ‘Paradiso‘. The first two parts have been released over the last few months and now the final part has been delivered with yet another two tracks arriving as ‘Paradiso’. Now we aren’t quite sure if there are more tracks to follow with the full album release, but at the moment, we just have the three parts.

‘Paradiso’ contains two new tracks – ‘Dopamine‘ and ‘Break Me Down‘. Both take a little different direction from each other but they are the quality and standard we would expect from Steve Angello. ‘Dopamine’ contains vocals from Barns Courtney and these vocals against the piano backdrop creates a soothing atmosphere. This begins to build with the strings and synths coming through, especially when it drops. ‘Break Me Down’ is a huge track. Vocals flow through the track with an atmosphere synth really building the energy and the tension, as it all leads up to the breaking point. And when it drops, the energy flows out of the track. It’s a brilliant release from Steve Angello, this is a track which will go down very well in his sets.

Now we await the release of ‘Almost Human’ as a full album. Let’s hope there are more tracks on it than just the three parts. You can download ‘Paradiso’ here.
