Solardo – On The Corner EP

Solardo has delivered a two track EP on their very own imprint and it is banging.

Solardo have become one of the stand out names on the dance music scene, particularly within the UK and Europe. The duo have been heavily supported by the likes of BBC Radio One due to their major releases on some quality labels such as Hot Creations and more. Now they have delivered their two track ‘On The Corner‘ EP on their very own Sola Recordings imprint.

The duo have been going from strength to strength over the last year or so due to the success of their previous releases. With this growth, they have been performing at major festivals and club events across the UK, Europe and further abroad. It isn’t hard to see why though. The duo have been producing some of the best tunes on the underground dance music scene, and their style of House is going down a treat with the fans. And the ‘On The Corner’ EP is set to do the same.

On The Corner‘ is the first track to arrive on the EP and what a sweet little vibe this one is. A driving bass line powers through the track with a solid beat behind it, the two working very well together. Add in a vocal chop which just adds a whole new dimension to the track, and you have a vibe which is going to be very well suited to the intimate club scene. The drop is immense, you become completely involved with the gritty deep bass which flows along with the drums. This is a major new vibe from Solardo.

Following on from this is the second track ‘Mental Atmosphere‘ and again, this one is for the intimate club dance floors. The start layers in a deep flowing bass line with vocal chops included over the top, and they begin to cause a lot of tension within the track as it builds with the sketchy synths. And when it drops down, the dirty, gritty bass line comes through to provide the energy for the crowd. This is a track which will bring a sense of groove and energy. Big tune! Solardo have definitely delivered with the ‘On The Corner’ EP.
