The duo from Manchester have become one of the breakthrough acts of 2016. Solardo have really rocked onto the scene and made a real name for themselves. And they haven’t slowed down near the end of the year, as they land on the mighty Toolroom Records with the two track ‘The Aztecs‘ EP.
Solardo have established themselves as one of the UK House acts to watch out for, certainly in 2017. With releases on the likes of Hot Creations which took them to new heights, Solardo have now taken to Toolroom Records with a two track EP that is already building up their reputation and name. Now with this, ‘The Aztecs’ EP is becoming a serious contender on the scene, already dominating sets and already going down a treat with many other DJs.
The first track on the EP is ‘The Aztecs‘, the title track for the EP and what an impact this one is having. The groovy sound which comes through with the bass line that flows, those vocal samples which seem to rivet through the track and the sweet energy which mixes in with the rest of the elements, it has it all. This is the infectious track which will up the energy on the dance floors, interact with the crowds and the people and show them a good time. No wonder this track is going down a treat on the scene.
Following this is ‘The Spot‘ and again, this track follows the Tech House style which Solardo bring forth in their tracks. A solid bass line sets the tone for the track, allowing the energy to really dominate within, while the vocal samples again adds that extra layer of groove. Pairing this off with some cool little melodies and you have yourself a winning track, perfect for the intimate setting. It’s brilliant work from the duo from Manchester.
