Skrillex And Valentino Khan Rock Up A ‘Slam Dunk’

Skrillex and Valentino Khan have dropped an absolute monster with the brand new single 'Slam Dunk'.

Well if you could have paired two artists off who have had a sensational last few months or a year, then it would probably be Valentino Khan and Skrillex. The two artists have come together to drop a brand new bad ass bass anthem with ‘Slam Dunk‘ and this is about to hit home like an earthquake, so prepare.

For those of you who don’t know who Valentino Khan (and I should be speaking to a select few), he is the man behind the most played track of 2015, a DJs highlight, yes we are talking about ‘Deep Down Low’. A hit which simply was unstoppable. Skrillex, yeah well he’s the man behind Jack U and also the label OWSLA, the man who also just released his collaboration with Rick Ross, ‘Purple Lamborghini‘ as part of the Suicide Squad soundtrack. He’s a big deal in the scene….

Anyway the two have come together for ‘Slam Dunk’ and once again, this could be a very big anthem we have on the cards here. There is a mixture of genres and sounds coming through right from the start of the track, with the vocals from Kstylis blending in with a more Hip-Hop, Trap like backdrop. This all changes in the builds as the tension begins to rise and rise, before it turns into absolute bass madness when it hits with the sirens, sketchy electro synths and the raw vocals of Kstylis. The breakdown is sweet, cool little melodies flow through a rapid tempo before it all hits hard once more with some hardened bass. It may not have the commercial aspect that the two latter singles have had, but this could very well become a DJ favourite. ‘Slam Dunk’ is ready to go in, and go in hard.
