Shadow Child – Ooh Tune / Higher EP

Shadow Child has brought his wonderful sounds to the scene once more with a new EP.

| by | House, Reviews, Tech House

Shadow Child has always been a wizard in the studio when it comes to new music productions under his name. And this is exactly what he has done with his latest tracks. They have arrived with some major support, coming in from the likes of Annie Mac, and they come under two names, ‘Ooh Tune‘ and ‘Higher‘.

For those of you who may not know, Food Music is the label which Shadow Child heads up and over the recent few months, some very talented producers have arrived on the label. It is fast becoming a label where if a solid House vibe is needed, you head straight to the Food Music catalogue. So it isn’t really a shock to see that both tracks the label boss has released on the label are going down so well. ‘Ooh Tune’ is set to be one hell of an anthem, followed closely by ‘Higher’.

Ooh Tune‘ is the kind of track which you could very easily hear yourself dancing the night away too in Ibiza during the Summer months. With big piano chords flowing through the track and giving out that classic House vibe with the beat, it just has you mesmerised, especially with the vocal sample. The track cuts in a different direction with the drop. It almost cuts to a Tech House vibe, but it’s a solid tune. ‘Higher‘ is more in the underground Tech House regions, with a growling bass line, and sketchy, stabby synth elements flitting throughout the track. It’s a different atmosphere around the track. But one thing for certain is, this has a solid energy surrounding it, and it’s definitely one of those late night monsters. Shadow Child has delivered the goods with ‘Ooh Tune’ and ‘Higher’.

You can download ‘Ooh Tune’ and ‘Higher’ here.
