The Spanish national is well known in underground circles for his Techno sounds and the quality which is associated with it, and he certainly does not disappoint once more as Ramiro Lopez drops this huge new two track ‘Botannical’ EP on Intec Digital, and it’s all about to go off in the clubs and the underground scene.

A known name for releases on the likes of Suara, Toolroom Records, Noir, Bedrock Records, the huge underground labels, Ramiro Lopez knows how to make his mark and he does so through his energetic shows, as well as the quality tunes he produces to back it all up. For his next assignment, he has released the two track ‘Botannical’ EP on Intec, a label which he has released music upon before, and this is the quality production style he is known for with this new EP.

The first track is the title track of the EP, ‘Botannical’ and from the start, you have that feeling that it is going in the direction of the Warehouse Techno sound which is just so atmospheric, dark and really intense. With the deep bass line holding the track down like an anchor, the different sounds then begin to take hold of the track with the dark synths in the backdrop of the track, the melodies running throughout while each of the layers begin to build up the tension within the atmosphere of the track. A superb production and one which is sure to engage the crowd.

Following on from this is ‘Calculated Risk’, the second track on the EP and this again has that big atmospheric feel to it with the bass line being the anchor once more, while the synths then kick in to really build upon the track. It builds and builds to a point where it kicks and the energy really begins to pour out of the track. When those deep synths kick in with those sweet horn like sounds, it really tops the track off and you have a feeling this is the one which is going to connect the most with those on the dance floors. Ramiro Lopez has produced the goods.
