Oh my. Fancy listening to some quality House music? Then you have stumbled upon the right place. Purple Disco Machine has one of the fastest growing reputations on the current House music scene and it’s not hard to see why. The artist has landed with two originals on Kittball Records with the ‘Walls‘ EP, and a remix coming in from Monte.

The last year or so has been all about Purple Disco Machine. From his remix of Hercules & Love Affair to his original releases on Defected, as well as his visits to various other labels, he has been the stand out character in the House and Deep House genres. His talent is evident and his quality never fades, he seems to get better and better with each release and this certainly comes through with this new EP ‘Walls’, I’ve fallen for it big time!

Walls‘ is the first track on the EP and the title track is absolutely fantastic. It has the classic House feeling to it, with a real progressive nature surrounding it as Purple Disco Machine takes you on a journey. With the soothing piano melodies, taking hold with a bass line which completely embraces the melodies, while that vocal just adds value, and not to mention the guitar chords, this track just seems to have everything. It’s a powerful statement in the clubs and is one to really cap off the Summer (still ranting about the Summer!). Monte takes on the track with a remix of ‘Walls’ and he really goes for it, a little more underground and on the Tech House side of things, but brilliant all the same with the synth work, the solid drums being used and the real, almost acid like, atmosphere which surrounds the track.

Rounding off the ‘Walls’ EP is the second original track from Purple Disco Machine with ‘Drumatic‘ and boy oh boy, if this doesn’t make you fall in love with the slow tempo House music, then there’s something not right. The instruments which have been used in this one with the trumpet sounds, as well as those drums complementing it, oh god this is great. The energy is real and you can definitely see the crowd feeding off this feel good vibe. Great stuff from Purple Disco Machine.
