Purple Disco Machine Releases ‘Soulmatic’ Album

Purple Disco Machine has released a stellar new album with 'Soulmatic'.

| by | House, Reviews

It’s quite hard to believe that this is the debut album to be produced by Purple Disco Machine. This is an artist who has a serious amount of skill within the studio, his productions are top class and his music always receives a warm welcome on the dance floors. Now we have the full pleasure of listening to his brand new album ‘Soulmatic‘.

The last few months have been gearing up towards this release. We have received singles such as ‘Devil In Me‘ which features Duane Harden and Joe Killington, it was a single which really laid down the foundation for what we could look forward too. ‘Body Funk‘ was teased through the Eton Messy YouTube channel, and it has been destroying club dance floors. Now with the full album here, we are treated to some stellar collaborations and some of the purest Disco music. ‘Soulmatic’ will surely infect your body and soul.

Music In You‘ kicks the album off and features Lorenz Rhode, and it is the perfect way to kick off an album. Driving drum beats, sweet synth work and a mixture in with pianos and guitars, it has the groove and the funky nature you would expect. And with the added vocals which have been vocoded, it’s such a sweet and energetic track. ‘Love For Days‘ is yet another stand out track (three tracks in!!), where Purple Disco Machine has teamed up with Boris Dlugosch, and the track features Karen Harding. Pure vocals, a sweet melodic backdrop, it has it all.

And this isn’t all from Purple Disco Machine. ‘Pray For Me‘ features Cee-Lo Green and this is a masterpiece. You simply cannot drag yourself away from this one, especially when the track is building up. It’s perfection. ‘Play‘, ‘Let The Music Play‘ with Faithless, ‘Take It Easy‘, every track which features on this album has a different sound, a different vibe, but they all churn out the groove, the funky energy, and the Disco vibes. ‘Soulmatic’ as a whole is something you need to listen too.

You can download ‘Soulmatic’ here.
