The Partysquad have been known for producing their hard hitting bass anthems, dropping them on their label Rebel Yard. They have released their latest track ‘Lights Out’ on the label, though the usual sound which they bring hasn’t been included. It’s a little more soothing though the track comes as a collaboration alongside Alvaro.
The collaboration between Alvaro and The Partysquad is one which is going to go down a real treat with fans. It’s not the first time the two have come together, as they recently released ‘The Wildlife’ together, and they are well known for releasing with other artists as well. Wiwek, Dirtcaps and many of the Barong Family are those they have worked with previously. Bringing the two together for yet another track is quality though, as they bring this sweet new anthem ‘Lights Out’.
‘Lights Out’ though, as already mentioned, isn’t the usual track which you would hear from these guys. It’s not the hard hitting bass anthems we are used to, it’s a little more down-tempo, a little more chilled out. That’s the sound which they seem to have gone for, the chilled-bass sound but by god it sounds great. The way in which the track builds up and allows the energy to really mount is brilliant. The vocals are also a nice layer and edge that they have included within the track, while the deep bass line which flows in the track is just exceptional. Bringing this all together, and paired with the drop that comes in with energy, but not full on energy, is just superb work. This is a quality new track to come from The Partysquad and Alvaro.
