Mike Mago & Dragonette – Secret Stash

Mike Mago and Dragonette have teamed up together once more with this cool little vibe 'Secret Stash'.

Mike Mago is having an incredible time on the dance music scene at the moment. Each release which he brings to the scene seems to be received extremely well, especially with the quality aspect behind it. For his latest track, he has teamed up with Dragonette once more to produce ‘Secret Stash‘, which has been released via Don Diablo’s Hexagon.

The last time, if I remember right, the pair teamed up with each other for the track which kicked off Mike Mago’s more main stream career, with ‘Outlines’. Since then, they have not worked with each other until now. And their latest track seems to be going down extremely well with fans of Mike Mago and Dragonette, as well as the Hexagon family. It’s been rocketing up their own personal charts, and is making it’s way up the main charts as well.

‘Secret Stash’ leans towards that Future House sound, with that more main stream¬†Future House which is becoming extremely popular at the moment. The track focuses clearly on the vocals of Dragonette, which dominate the track right from the start, especially in the break downs and the builds. The track has a way of changing itself over the course of the track, with the melodies flowing and the different sounds coming through. This is most notable when changing from the builds and breaks, where the deep bass line takes over, before dropping done. The drop is more led on the higher pitched synths and drums. Overall though, the track is very catchy indeed, very infectious and it’s not surprising to see it go down so well.
