Feel The music.
Laidback Luke is still one of the pioneers in dance music, no matter where he places on charts or what he seems to be doing. No matter what, his music seems to be quality and this latest piece of work from the pioneer is no different. He has undertaken remix duties of Max Vangeli and De Kibo’s ‘Feel The Music’.
Evolution of a DJs sound is one of the most important for an artist. The likes of Tiesto has evolved his sound from Trance to Big Room, to then dabbling in the Deep House sounds. For Laidback Luke, it has been something similar, transporting himself from Techno to Big Room and then into Bass House regions. However with this latest remix, the King has taken himself back to those older, iconic Laidback Luke sounds which he brings forth with his remix if ‘Feel The Music’, and it shows exactly why we’ve missed this kind of sound from Luke.
Feel The Music.
Arriving on NoFace Records, the label set up by Max Vangeli himself, Laidback Luke has provided his remix expertise to ‘Feel The Music’, a track which Max and De Libo produced. The big room sounds really come through with the organ melodies which flow through the track, with vocal samples layered in over the top. Pairing this off with big room builds, which mount up the energy, it all leads to the drop. And the drop is where it seems to bring that old school Laidback Luke through. The sketchy electro melodies really set the tone and bring the impact, with a solid bass line brought in for the backdrop. With this, the energy really comes through with an infectious tone, and this is even more noticeable with the breakdown. It’s an anthem, one which is sure to go down a treat on the scene, it’s classic LBL.
