This is an amazing new compilation album compiled by the mighty Mau5trap Records.

Mau5trap is a hub for exciting new electronic producers coming through, and many of them are challenging the work of label head, Deadmau5. Deadmau5 has been rather pro-active recently with the label and has been pushing many of the talented producers on the label, taking them on tour and collaborating with them.

We Are Friends Volume Six‘ showcases exactly this. Many of those talented producers feature on the album with some immense new singles, amazing productions and quality tunes. Label favourites join rising talents where they all compete against each other, with the album containing twenty-one new tracks, over two hours of music. ‘We Are Friends Volume Six’ shows why Mau5trap is becoming the hot bed for talent in the electronic scene.

Kicking off the compilation album is a brand new single from Deadmau5, ‘Polaris‘ and it is a stunning piece of electronic work. With the riveting synth work, it has the Canadian artist written all over it, and the whole progressive nature of the track is brilliant. He follows this up with ‘Bad At Titles‘, his previously teased collaboration with ATTLAS. And they really pulled out the stops with this one. It has a dark edge to it, a real intense atmosphere, a real driving force behind the track, and it is perfect for the intimate dance floors.

ATTLAS follows this with his single release ‘The Machinery Chewed‘ and this one has a real Techno edge to it, a thumping bass line to deliver the energy to the crowd. BlackGummy also stands out on the album with a VIP remix of ‘Descent‘. And many other label favourites feature including No Mana, Robert Winters, Matt Lange, Blue Mora and Enzo Benett.

However a number of talented producers also arrive with some rather brilliant tracks. Notaker, a rising electronic artist, really impresses with his track ‘Abyss’, while Tinlicker also prove their worth with the sweet track ‘As We Wake’, which is a powerful electronic track produced in their very own style. It is hard to cover all tracks, but ‘We Are Friends Volume Six’ has produced twenty-one astonishingly quality productions. It simply is a must listen.
