Martin Garrix Returns With New Single ‘Scared To Be Lonely’

The super star DJ has returned with quite possibly one of his best productions to date...

Martin Garrix is a world wide phenomenon after rising up through dance music at such a young age, capitalising on the growing dance music market and becoming a global super star. The young star is the youngest world number one DJ and he is continuing to grow his sound, his expertise and skills within the scene.

Last year saw the artist make big waves,¬†building up his own record label STMPD Records and brand, and the music he was bringing to the label was some of the best we had heard from him. Now he has arrived back on the scene with a brand new track, releasing ‘Scared To Be Lonely‘ and see’s Martin team up with Dua Lipa, and this track seems to have that ‘In The Name Of Love‘ kind of feeling to it. However, I would say this is one of Martin’s best productions. His skills are becoming very good indeed.

Within dance music, the Future Bass sound is fast becoming the go-to sound. Martin Garrix has added his twist to the genre with ‘Scared To Be Lonely’, mixing in the soothing bass lines with the vocals of Dua Lipa in the breaks and builds. The drop is melodic, just like many of Martin’s tracks and it has a sense of power surrounding it as well. The way in which this track seems to progress and move, the journey you undertake is just a beautiful one. You could picture this one going off at the festivals, the vast amount of people dancing along to the deep grovelling bass in the drops. It’s a huge new track from the young star but its just the tip of the iceberg for what I expect in the coming year, especially with the announcement of the STMPD Records stage at Tomorrowland.
