Oh Woman Oh Man.
MK is one of those powerful forces within the scene. He has been releasing some classy original singles over the last while, but many know him for his ability to transform and remix tracks. This is exactly what he has done with the new London Grammar single, ‘Oh Woman Oh Man‘ and this is a little different from the producer.
Marc Kinchen, aka MK, has been on the scene for many years now, but he has always been producing quality pieces of work. Over the last while, he has been remixing tracks and the commercial success he has been having has been surreal. But it really isn’t hard to see why. MK has been able to keep much of the original tracks, and then add his own House sounds, completely transforming them. By god he has impressed with this latest as he remixes London Grammar’s ‘Oh Woman Oh Man’.
Oh Woman Oh Man.
The original ‘Oh Woman Oh Man’ is a quiet, ambient track which focuses clearly on the vocals which overpower the track. A soothing vibe. But MK has come through and really changed it up, but keeping much of the original as well. The vocals continue to be a stand out part of the track. But it’s the electronic melodies which seem to really dominate the track, whether this be in the build up or the huge drop. This drop is where the energy is contained, and this is a really different vibe from the producer. This remix contains those House sounds which MK is known for, but these electronic sounds are a whole new edge. Mixed in with the piano melodies though, the mixture is sheer perfection, this is a producer who knows what he is doing.
Also arriving on remix duties for ‘Oh Woman Oh Man’ are DC Breaks and Tiga, two remixes which are definitely well worth checking out as well. You can download the ‘Oh Woman Oh Man’ remixes here.
