There is certain EP’s or tracks which you stumble across and just think wow. This is exactly what you get from London based artist Joel Edwards. He has just released his new moniker London Fields following on from widespread success with his band Deepest Blue. And the ‘Find Our Love‘ EP is just utter brilliance.

So far support has arrived from recognised names such as Horse Meat Disco, Joey Negro and many others. It isn’t really a surprise to see this as the tracks which have been included on the ‘Find Our Love’ EP are just superb. Genres range between Nu Disco, Techno, Electronic and other genres. It all seems to fuse together brilliantly and showcase the wonderful work London Fields brings within the studio.

Find Our Love‘ dabbles within the Nu Disco region with sweet vocals layered in over the top of brilliant piano melodies, a chilled bass line and some soothing drum beats. One to really bring the midday parties to life. ‘All I Want‘ again brings this Nu Disco, Indie Dance vibe and it is sure to have the crowd grooving. A track which has a serious energy and groove behind it. ‘Kzundaze‘ is something a little more out there, edging into the Leftfield vibe. It’s stunning, the synths really add a different atmosphere to the track but one which really brings you in.

This is where the ‘Find Our Love’ EP enters into the more Techno regions. ‘The Jam‘ is a track which has a gritty bass line, allowing the melodies to flow over the top with a real jamming electronic nature. This is perfect for the underground clubs. Finally rounding off the EP is ‘No Ono‘ and this is a free-flowing track which takes you on a journey. An atmosphere like no other, when it drops, you know the crowd will go wild for this one. Solid work on the debut EP for London Fields, a name to certainly look out for.
