Jika Jika Are Bringing Drumcode To Derry For First Time

It's a mighty event for the city of Derry as Techno heavyweights Jika Jika bring Drumcode to Ebrington.

Jika Jika have been a stalwart in the city of Derry for many years now, bringing some of the biggest and best in underground dance music to the city. The likes of Nicole Moudaber, James Zabiela and many others have all performed, while upcoming performances from Sam Paganini, John Digweed and Steve Lawler are all scheduled. Last year however they held a major event in Ebrington Square, the site of the old army barracks, with none other than Sven Vath headlining.

Now Jika Jika are bringing Drumcode to the city for the very first time, replicating what happened with Sven Vath and his Cocoon brand, and taking it that one step better. The event will take place in Ebrington Square once more on bank holiday Sunday 27th August. The artists who will be performing are some of the biggest and most demanded, especially within the Derry area so without further waiting, check up who will performing.

Locked in to perform across the one day will be none other than Drumcode label head Adam Beyer. He has been pinnacle within the Techno scene over the last few years, and his enigmatic back to back sets with his wife Ida Engberg have been stand out moments. Alan Fitzpatrick will also be performing on the night, and this is an artist who receives some of the best crowds in Ireland. Recent performances have continued to sell out. And also joining the party will be the talented Dense & Pika, a duo who have collaborated with Adam Beyer on a recent Drumcode release. Lauren Lo Sung and Layton Giordani will also be playing. 7
