Gryffin is one of those artists whose music you connect with due to the emotion and the powerful nature the talented producer brings across. It’s a sublime career to date and the artist continues to build up his musical portfolio. His latest single comes as ‘Love In Ruins‘ and it’s an utterly beautiful track.
The last few months have been rather hectic for the talented artist, who really hit the headlines with his remix of ‘King’ by Years & Years. Since then though, we have had a strew of singles from Gryffin. One of the biggest hits was his collaboration with Illenium, ‘Feel Good‘, which featured Daya. And also not forgetting the likes of ‘Heading Home’ and ‘Whole Heart’. Now Gryffin has teamed up with the wonderful Sinead Harnett for ‘Love In Ruins’ as he prepares for his debut album.
‘Love In Ruins’ holds those classic Gryffin sounds which come through in nearly all of his tracks. The beautiful guitar rifts ooze through the track alongside the synths, providing the melodies and the emotional energy for the track. As it builds, you feel this emotion and power beginning to grow and you fall in love with the track. The vocals from Sinead Harnett, who has worked with the likes of Disclosure and more, just work extremely well with the background production work. When the track drops, you feel the energy, you feel the energy and the power, it’s a wonderful new track from Gryffin. Now the anticipation grows to hear what is in store with his debut album.
