| by | Electro House, Reviews

Every so often you get a powerful new collaboration which really blows you away with some of the big names coming together. Two of dance musics fastest rising stars have come together to release the track ‘Feel Good‘, and they added a very big vocalist to the track as well. Gryffin, Illenium and Daya have all come together and it is wonderful.

Gryffin really came to fruition with the release of many hit remixes, before going on to release a number of key singles, including ‘Heading Home’ and ‘Whole Heart’. Illenium has also been a key influencer within the Future Bass movement, racking up thousands of plays on singles, as well as his massive remix of Flume’s ‘Say It’. And Daya needs no introduction for her work with The Chainsmokers. The three have come together for ‘Feel Good’ so you can feel how powerful this track is going to be.

The intricate melodies which start ‘Feel Good’ really set the tone for the track. Adding these melodies with the layered vocals of Daya works extremely well. This mixture is beautiful, it simply takes hold of you, the beauty of the vocals, the melodic backdrop. Add in the energy which is flowing through the track in the builds and you can feel the tension building for the drop. When the drop comes, it all comes through with the Future Bass sounds. The energy begins to flow out of the track in an infectious, melodic, stunning way. ‘Feel Good’ grips you, you struggle to tear yourself away from the emotion and the power. What a track, really impressive from all three artists, but nothing else would have been expected.
