Eric Prydz is a man with many name for one face. But all of these names do not disappoint. Whether he produces under his Eric Prydz name, Cirez D or Pryda, the quality of the music in which he delivers is out of this world. Put him up there with the best. Now he has revealed one of his lesser known aliases, Tonja Holma, and delivered a brand new EP.

The ‘Tonja‘ EP is the second release on his newly launched Pryda Presents label, which was kick-started with Cristoph who released ‘Feel‘ a few months ago. This is an alias of Eric Prydz that has been teased and teased, the music has been around for some time with many of the tracks being uploaded on social channels from a few years back. But the time has finally arrived with Eric Prydz announcing the Tonja Holma alias and releasing the ‘Tonja’ EP.

Four tracks feature and the four tracks are absolute masterpieces. In my eyes, Eric Prydz can do no wrong and I know quite a few others will agree with me on that one. The first is ‘Trippleton‘ and it could quite easily have Pryda written all over it. This has a classic feel to it with the riveting melodies which flow through the track, as well as the deep bass line which is firmly embedded. It’s just a perfect track to really kick start the ‘Tonja’ EP. ‘Spanish Delight‘ follows on from this track and it brings about a different edge to it. It has a more darker, more deeper and edgier feeling to it with the atmosphere that surrounds it. But it has that infectious energy that you simply feed off and want more and more.

Loco‘ is the third track on the EP and again, it’s just a perfect track from the Tonja Holma alias of Eric Prydz. This is a track which takes you on a wonderful progressive journey. It has a stunning melody which is fused in with a deep bass line, with the two working together in the way in which the track builds up. The synths provide a soothing nature in the track before it meets its high point, and then it drops. Perfection. ‘Global‘ is the final track on the ‘Tonja’ EP and it’s just another masterpiece from Eric. Riveting synth work, an atmosphere like no other, you will struggle to find something better. It’s almost got a Deadmau5 influence attached to it!
