Ali Shirazinia is a name which might not spring to mind, but when you mention either Dubfire or the fact he was one part of the infamous Deep Dish duo, you’ll recognise it. Now he has released a brand new documentary titled ‘Above Ground Level‘ which delves into his life as a DJ, producer and travelling artist.
A DJ and producer in the current day and age is not an easy job when you are demanded by fans to play all over the world. Travelling and touring has become a major part of that career, and this can certainly take its toll on an artist. With the ‘Above Ground Level’ documentary, Michael Koczynski and Mino Kodama who have directed the production piece, delve into the life of Dubfire and gain exclusive footage from fellow DJs.

They have been interviewed and have shared stories, footage and more about the life of Ali Shirazinia, telling the story of how he became a DJ, to being part of Deep Dish and then on to Dubfire. They give insight into the production side of things, touring all over the world, DJing and much more. It is a documentary which is a must watch, it offers something different and for fans, it shows just how hard a DJ and producer works. ‘Above Ground Level’ is something for the list of things to watch.
