Dave Clarke Reveals New Album With Single ‘Charcoal Eyes’

Dave Clarke is back after a fourteen year hiatus and he is sounding wonderful with his new single.

Dave Clarke is an electronic and Techno icon within dance music. A legend that has operated within the underground scene, he has been known for his iconic White Noise radio show as well as two albums to his name. However these albums were not what you can expect to hear from his recently announced new album, this is going to be something very different.

The Desecration Of Desire‘ is the new album from Dave Clarke which will be released via Skint Records on October 27th. This will be the first album to come from Dave Clarke in fourteen years, breaking his album hiatus. And it’s an exciting new project from the icon. The album will feature ten new tracks, each showcasing a chapter which the producer has underwent. The order in which the singles arrive are different stages and the order in which they produced. It’s going to be brilliant to listen to.

To launch the news of his new album, Dave Clarke has also delivered a new single alongside QOTSA’s Mark Lanegan who provides his gritty vocals to ‘Charcoal Eyes (Glass Tears)‘. This is a track which borders into the gritty, dirty underground electronic with a hint of Techno involved. The deep flowing bass line really anchors the track down, while the atmosphere has a whole new edge added to it due to the vocals of Mark. Bringing this all together and you have a real electronic monster of a track. It’s something you must listen to, it’s sure to be a real gritty track for the dance floors. ‘Charcoal Eyes (Glass Tears)’ is the first single and a number of remixes have also been released.
