Over the last five years, Danny Howard has grown his name into one which is demanded by the crowds. From his five year residency with BBC Radio One and with well over one million listeners on his Saturday radio show, he continues to grow. Now he has delivered his debut EP on Toolroom Records and it is a big one with ‘Extra Trippy‘.
Danny Howard is an artist who has changed his sound with the adapting scene. Moving from the big room sounds into the more underground House vibes, it has been a change welcomed by many. He has delivered an EP on Shadow Child’s Food Music recently, and has now followed this up with the two track EP ‘Extra Trippy’ on Toolroom Records. Both have been rocking the dance floors and Danny Howard has been receiving a wealth of support on the tracks.
‘Extra Trippy‘ is the first track on the EP and it really is one of those which will set the crowd off. With a big pumping beat, and a soothing synth melody which rips through the track, it creates a huge atmosphere around the track. Bringing in the builds throughout the track, it takes you on a journey, especially with the way the vocal sample has been used. Danny Howard has created a monster which is ready to go off on the dance floors.
A change of pace takes place when listening to ‘Xamena‘. It’s slightly slower, a more groovier pace, and you listen to the track in great detail with each element that Danny Howard has brought forth through the track. This is one for Ibiza, it’s not hard to see why this has received a lot of support. The sweet synths fusing in with the deep rolling bass line and the way in which the energy begins to build up and drop, it’s a fantastic track from Danny. It all seems to be coming together for the artist.
