New projects are something I’m always fond of. Especially when it has some very good names involved within it. Now we have been treated to something very special. It’s a brand new electronic band project and it contains some of the Reptile Dysfunction artists. Doorly, Tan Dem and Trooko have launched Back Talk with the new ‘Paradise‘ EP.
The new project is set to be an exciting one. The outlines have stated that it will contain a constant evolving cameo of vocalists and featured artists, which is exactly what we have received with the ‘Paradise’ EP. This first single features vocals from none other than Idris Elba, and it adds to the whole element of this sleazy, gloomy House record. This is the type of track which is sure to get you dancing on the club floor. Infectious, groovy, energetic, just the way we like our House.
Also arriving on the ‘Paradise’ EP is a brand new remix from Skream and he adds a real deep, dark and atmospheric feel to the track. It’s something which you would expect from the artist, a big thumping beat and plenty of gritty drum samples working in with the vocals of Idris. Perfect. Patrick Topping also features on the EP with his remix of ‘Paradise’ and this is a real groovy piece of work. With plenty of percussion adding to the track, it provides that soothing House vibe, one which is sure to infect the listener.
Also appearing on the EP is Griff who adds a sense of soul to his work through the synth work. It’s certainly different and this is one for the chilled out, Summer garden parties. Brilliant work from the producer. Trooko and Tan Dem also add their remix elements to the track and this is one for the main room. This is a big anthem, one which will have the listener head over heels and thriving for the energy. Plenty more is expected from the Back Talk collective.
