Awakenings are not holding back with it's line up of shows for Amsterdam Dance Event.

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the biggest meeting place for everyone involved within dance music. Everyone. Despite being a conference, the event is also a musical showcase as artists perform to thousands of people across hundreds of venues. The Awakenings ADE 2017 showcase is something special though.

The Awakenings crew are one of the biggest names in underground dance music in terms of Techno. They host their annual festival, with multiple events taking place over the course of the year, with festival stage takeovers and other such things. However one of their biggest showcases outside of the festival itself, is Amsterdam Dance Event. And the Awakenings ADE 2017 line up is huge. I mean huge.

Kicking it all off at Gashouder, the home of Awakenings, on Tuesday 18th October is none other than Len Faki who presents Figure Nacht. Joining him on the night will be the legendary Jeff Mills, Robert Hood performing live, as well as Kink presenting Cyrillic, plus Lady Starlight, Roman Poncet and Regal. The following night (19th October), will be the annual Drumcode takeover by Adam Beyer. Drumcode has become a phenomenal brand and the talents who Beyer has enlisted is huge. Illario Allicante, Monika Kruse, Pig&Dan, Dense & Pika and Marco Faraone have all been announced.

Thursday 20th October will see Paul Kalkbrenner present ‘Back To The Future’ with DJ Pierre, Phuture, Michel De Hey and Simina Grigoriu. And the next night (21st October) will be Joris Voorn and Friends, featuring the mighty Kolsch, Slam, Awakenings legend Sven Vath and Nastia.

This is where Awakenings ADE 2017 gets interesting though. This year they have added an Awakenings by Day event on Saturday 22nd October at Gashouder, with many talented artists performing. Kicking off at twelve in the afternoon, Dimitri gets things underway before being followed by Bart Skils B2B with Paul Ritch and DJ Rush. One stand out moment will be Danny Tenaglia back to back with Nicole Moudaber, followed by Paula Temple and Sam Paganini. This leads directly into the Joseph Capriati Saturday night showcase with a number of stand out names. And then on Sunday 23rd of October, it is the Klockworks take over, with a Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock, Dax J, Rodhad and many others performing.
