Album Review: 20 Years Of Milk & Sugar

It's a big celebration for Milk & Sugar as they celebrate 20 years in the industry.

| by | House, Reviews

They are a duo who have been delivering track after track to fans all around the world, and never fail to impress. It’s hard to believe that they have been working within the dance music scene for 20 years now. But we best believe it. And now we are celebrating in a big way as the duo bring a new compilation together, delivering ‘20 Years Of Milk & Sugar‘.

Milk & Sugar are widely renowned for their work within the House music scene, growing from a small duo based in Germany, to being well known for their House tracks in the likes of Ibiza, and plenty of other places around the world. So with ’20 Years Of Milk & Sugar’, we celebrate some of their biggest tracks to date, from their early House anthems right through to the current time. And if this doesn’t put you in the mood for Summer, I wouldn’t be sure what would.

Plenty of those classic tracks and modern tunes all come together for the compilation album. Kicking things off is their wonderful hit ‘Heat‘ (African Day) which features vocalist Nomfusi. And this is a track which is all about the feel good energy, the groove and just House vibes. Also featuring on the album is the Milk & Sugar remix of their huge track ‘Higher & Higher‘, a track which has been a mainstay in the duo’s catalogue for some time now. Other tracks which many will know include ‘My Lovin‘ with Barbara Tucker, ‘Bass’ (How Low Can You Go’, as well as ‘Need You In My Life’ and plenty of others. ’20 Years Of Milk & Sugar’ is well worth a listen, and we can’t wait for more tracks to come.
