Armada Music announce new project with 2-Dutch to launch 2-Dutch Records.
Just after the news has been confirmed that Mike Hawkins has confirmed his new exclusive deal with Armada Music following his walk out with Spinnin’ Records, 2-Dutch have been in the office rooms and signed a brand new deal with the Dutch label, to bring together a new imprint 2-Dutch Records, while also bringing on board Showtek’s Skink label.
We are very thrilled with the partnership with Armada and the mutual commitment to take our labels and artists to the next level, all combined with the freedom of bringing a whole new musical platform to the industry with 2-Dutch Records. – Marcel Scheffers, CEO of 2-Dutch
The new deal now sees the major Dutch label Armada Music look after the music catalogue of the newly launched 2-Dutch Records and also the Skink label, which is Showtek’s imprint. Now with the backing of the huge and very instrumental label, this could be an exciting new project for the group which looks after bookings for Stadiumx, Tom Swoon and Florian Picasso.
It’s with great pleasure that we can finally announce the launch of 2-Dutch Records as a joint venture with 2-Dutch Music Group. We’ve watched 2-Dutch make an impact on today’s Electronic Music landscape for some time now and we can’t wait to start working with them. – Maykel Piron, CEO of Armada Music
To kick things off, a new release is set to arrive via Skink with a brand new release coming from 2-Dutch favourite Justin Prime, as ‘Insane’ is set for a release on April 18th so keep an eye out for it folks. You can read the full statement via Armada Music’s site here.
